With nearly 8,000 acres of water available, boating is a very popular activity at Pomme de Terre Lake. Boat launching ramps are available in all parks with the exception of Damsite. Day use fees are charged for launching boats at the Corps managed boat ramps at Nemo, Lightfoot and Wheatland Parks. The fee is $3.00 per day.
There are a total of four paved boat launch ramps at Pomme de Terre State Park. On the Hermitage side of Pomme de Terre Lake, one is located at the campground and the other is off of the Highway 64 and RD Road entrance to the north side of the park. On the Pittsburg side, there is a boat launch located at the State Park Marina and one by the open picnic shelter. There are no launch fees in the park.
Marinas are located at Lightfoot Landing, Nemo Landing, Quarry Point, and the Pittsburg Area of Pomme de Terre State Park. The Marinas offer a wide range of services and supplies, including boat rentals, fuel, fishing tackle, and restaurants.
